Preface: THE HOUSE ON DARQUE HILL

Sorry about this, folks, but I'll have to rescind this freebie offer for now. Seems a publisher might have an offer for me and says I should not waste my time on the likes of Facebook because it's a non-supporting community for writers hawking their books and such. I think she's right. Sensed as much all along, but there you have it. . .money talks and so do potential sales. Let's see if this publisher puts its money where its mouth is. P. S. considering how long this free offer has been out there and considering how there are still no takers, that's gud enuff for me to accept the publisher's premise.

For those of you who enjoy reading spooky stories, here’s YOUR chance to read and challenge yourself to do just that. Entitled, THE HOUSE ON DARQUE HILL, I will post a couple of chapters each week on my website (www.richholtzin.com). After reading these sample chapters, kindly leave a comment and/or suggestions at the below-listed email what you think (i.e., suggestions how to improve the storyline). This novel based on a singular narrative is not yet edited, but will one day go through the cleaning process if the comments are favorable. So, the reader gets to play the role of the editor and commentator. One more thing: If you participate in this quid pro quo deal, I dare you to read this mysterious, scary story alone, especially at night! Be afraid! Be very afraid where this eerie tale takes you!

Email your comments to: rich at richholtzin dot com (using the “@“ and “.com” symbols that will fool the BOTS).

P. S. Please mention this free offer to your circle of friends and others on your social networks because the more readers/commentators, the better.
